Narayana Hrudayalaya and Assam government to set up 300 bed hospital in Amingaon

Narayana Hrudayalaya with help from Government of Assam, is planning to set up a 300 bed hospital in Amingaon, near Guwahati in Assam with an investment of Rs. 1500 million. The hospital will have super-specialty facilities such as cardiology, cardiac surgery, neurology, neurosurgery, besides other services such as nephrology, dialysis, urology and renal transplant, orthopaedics and trauma, endocrinology, radiology and imaging services, internal medicine etc. The hospital is being set up through public- private partnership route.

Narayana Hrudayalaya plans dental clinic across major cities

Narayana Hrudayalaya, a cardiac care hospital chain based in Bangalore. It has recently ventured into dental care is planning now to aggressively expand it to other cities. It plans to have 300 clinics under its own brand. It is logical for the hospital chain to venture into dentistry, as dental health impacts largely on cardiac and diabetic diseases. Currently, the Indian dental care market is mainly driven by entrepreneurial dentists.

Aerocom installs pneumatic transfer system in ‘Narayana Hrudayalaya Health City ‘

‘Narayana Hrudayalaya Health City ‘, the world largest upcoming cancer hospital and cardiac hospital gets a cross building pneumatic systems for smoother transfer of blood samples, bags, lab samples and patient records. This saves time by human transfer, when compared to larger no. of floors and buildings spread over the campus. The system is set up with help from Aerocom, a German company. Currently, it has set up 12 stations to collect and it may go up to 22 after commissioning of cancer hospital.

Narayana Hrudayalaya to open Rs 2500 million cancer centre in Bangalore

Narayana Hrudayalaya, a Shetty group chain of hospitals has opened a cancer centre at its health city campus in the outskirts of Bangalore.It will specialize in treating cancer for specific organs, to provide effective treatment which will also be cheaper and more comforting to the patient. It will treat neck cancer, cervical and breast cancer. It is believed that this new unit will bring down the cost of treatment for cancer. Biocon CEO, Ms. Kiran Mazumdar Shaw has 2.5 % stake in this unit is named after her. The unit will have 1400 bed and occupies 5 lakh sq.ft.
