KIMS Kochi plans expansion progamme

KIMS Hospital, a Kerala based healthcare is planning to invest Rs. 5000 million towards expansion. The company has recently acquired two hospitals which has taken its capacity to 1000 bed hospital chain. It also plans to set up two new hospital in Thiruvananthapuram and in northern Kerala. The hospital has recently acquired accreditation of the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards International which will help attracting patients from abroad. It may be noted, in 2012, 35,000 foreign patients were treated at KIMS.
