Bharat Family Clinic, the primary health care provider is planning to invest Rs. 600 million to set up 30 clinics by 2015. These clinic will provide out patient services and the company has tied up John Hopkins Medicine International to develop quality procedures and training programme. The clinic will provide internal medicine, obstetrics and gynaecology, paediatrics, dermatology, endocrinology, gastroenterology.
Delhi Government has set up two speciality hospitals in Janakpuri and Tahirpur. It plans to run the hospitals under society set up. It has appointed Dr. M M Mehndiratta to run the Janakpuri hospital and Dr. Sunil Kumar Khati has been appointed to run the Tahirpur hospital. The hospital at Janakpuri has been constructed on an 8.82-acre plot at a total cost of Rs 72 crore while the Rajiv Gandhi Super Speciality hospital at Tahirpur, spread over a 13-acre area, cost the government Rs 88 crore. These hospitals have a total capacity of 1000 beds and have specialised health care facilities in the fields of cardiology, nephrology, urology, oncology, renal transplant, gastroenterology, radiology, pathology and microbiology
Eye-Q, a super speciality eye care hospital is planning to invest Rs. 1600 million to set up 80 more new hospitals in tier II & III cities like Kanpur, Unnao, Meerut and Jhansi. The company will invest Rs. 20-30 million for each hospital and will offer full range of medical and surgical eye care and optical services. Currently, it operates 20 speciality eye care hospitals.
